I assembled a kind of funky formation with buff stealing Arkhan in 3 next to Kthiss and dark blessing makos once I got a blue item for his specialization upgrade so he'd steal more than the base amount from 4 big positional buffs to finally win, but it still took farming for a target that is supposed to be easy. It seemed like focused on Arkhan did more damage than Jamilah, but then things get kind of awkward since he has several abilities that want him to be in the front but Nayeli's buff is worth like 4 orders of magnitude so putting another damage dealer in front cripples me. And if I'm 'underperforming' in free play, the harder missions to reach that level are going to be a problem. Some of the missions for Tomb of Annihilation show as 'easy,' however they're also requiring 175 which took me a bunch of farming to barely reach. I'm kind of annoyed, since I just pulled Ishi from the Time Gate for that slot and now I'd automatically get another gold finder.Īlso, I feel like I'm screwing something up. The formation thing is nifty, giving you a few more choices beyond just buying up levels. It's a time waster, but so far even just in Alpha it seems to be running fine. But, you get divine focus for additional % of gold found, and if you've found a chest (or collected enough gems to buy a chest), any equipment stays with the characters. When you complete a quest, you open up a new quest, but your characters are reset back to level 1 and just the base hero. You might have to kill a certain number of foes or collect drops before you can move on to the next level. Your characters go out on quests, which seem to be multiple sets of five-level trips. It's an interesting approach, though it sounds like they may have modeled it after their previous game, Crusaders of the Lost Idol. The rogue attacks better if he doesn't have anyone in front of him. One character buffs everyone in the same column. You watch your heroes walking through the middle of the screen and you can move them around in formation. I've put in about 2 hours now and it's interesting. Today I got a message that I could sign up for the closed alpha and was accepted. Having wasted time in Cookie Clicker and Clicker Heroes, I decided to sign up for their newsletter.

So a few weeks back I stumbled across that Code Entertainment was doing a clicker game in the Forgotten Realms.
